We use no analytics or advertising services, show no ads and set no tracking cookies.

Server log data

When you visit the website, the web server automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This data serves solely to run the website securely and reliably, and is deleted after a short period.

Comments

When you leave a comment, we permanently store the name you enter, your e-mail address, the optional website and the comment text together with the post. Spam is blocked directly on our server by an invisible technical check; no data is passed to third parties. If you choose, your name and e-mail address are kept in a cookie so you do not have to re-enter them next time.

Contact form

Details from the contact form (name, e-mail address, message) are delivered to us by e-mail and used solely to answer your enquiry. They are not stored on the website.

Cookies and local storage

The website sets a cookie to remember your chosen language and stores your dark-mode preference in your browser’s local storage. Both exist purely for convenience and contain no personal data.

Map material

A map is shown on the contact page. The map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap; your IP address is transmitted to their servers in the process. The privacy notices of those providers apply.

Fonts and external content

All fonts and design assets are served locally from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or similar services.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. To do so, e-mail info@oatoclock.com. Swiss data protection law (nDSG) applies, supplemented by the GDPR where applicable.
